What is mobile-first SEO?
The way your website looks will appear slightly different between a desktop PC and a mobile, it is now vital to prioritise how your website looks on a m, mobile device. Google has switched to a mobile-first indexing system which means it primarily looks at the mobile version of your website. Why has Google done this? User behaviour has changed quickly over recent years with the majority of all web searches (around 68%) coming from mobile devices, this has forced many web designers to change the way they build websites and SEO must prioritise mobile users.
Is your website mobile-friendly?
The easiest way to test is a website is mobile friendly is to....... well..... use it on a mobile! Going through the websites pages using the buttons, fillinf out contact forms, testing everything on the site is the first step to being mobile friendly.

Improve user experience (UX)
Having a website that gets the green tick from testing tools is great but that is only half the battle it needs to have a positive user experience, it should load fast and have easy-to-find and easy-to-tap buttons which aren't to small for mobile screens.
Website loading speed matters
With today's attention spans decreasing it is now expected that a website will load fast throughout all of its pages or users will simply leave and go to the next site.
